Parrtjima - A Festival in Light

View the stunning illuminated 1950’s-style circular skirts that were originally featured as part of the Parrtjima (pronounced Par-Chee-ma) Festival in Light display at the Alice Springs Desert Park in Alice Springs. Featuring watercolour landscape paintings of Alice Springs artists Gloria Pannka, Ivy Pareroultja, Hubert Pareroultja, Theresa Ryder and Reinhold Inkamala from the Iltja Ntjarra Many Hands Arts Centre, the collection was presented in collaboration with ltja Ntjarra Many Hands Arts Centre and The Bachelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education.

iNsTagrammers: the best of NT photography

A selection of extraordinary instagrammer images from all corners of the Territory are showcased as part of iNsTagrammers: the best of NT photography, an exhibition originally shown at the Northern Territory Library.

A preview of the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair

The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art from more than 60 art centres across the NT and Australia. This year the DAAF fashion show from Country to Couture is a program highlight at Skycity on Wednesday evening, celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary fine art and high end fashion. Enjoy an extensive program of traditional dancing and artist workshops at the Darwin Convention Centre between 11-13 August 2017. Using the space

The Live Darwin Hub is available for use by interested not-for-profit arts organisations, groups and individuals.

The space is available free of charge and should be in-line with the intent of the Live Darwin program - part of our Vibrant CBD activation program.
